The natural wooden cap isn't just a lid — it's part of how your diffuser works. The timber draws the fragrance oil up through the grain and releases the scent slowly into the space around it.
This means the wood will darken and feel slightly damp with use. That's completely normal — it's the cap doing its job, not a leak or a fault. Simply keep your diffuser hanging upright, and avoid laying it flat in a handbag or glovebox.
